DCE Leads Tree Planting Exercise Across the District

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Richmond Koduah, together with the District Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Francis K. Ayensu, the Agric Director, Mr. Eric K. Twum, and all heads of departments and units of various institutions took part in the tree planting exercise as part of the Green Ghana Day initiative.

In a brief speech, the DCE, Richmond Koduah, urged the students to put in their best in their academics while also being mindful of their environment. He emphasised that trees are vital to climate resilience and the long-term wellbeing of the district.

The Green Ghana Day is a national initiative aimed at planting millions of trees across the country to restore degraded landscapes and promote environmental sustainability.
