District Centre for Agriculture, Commerce and Technology (DCACT)
The Government of Ghana directed all MMDAs to establish a DCACT to coordinate, harmonize and sustain Government/Donor Agribusiness Initiatives.
Key Mandates
- Promote the Agribusiness potential of the District
- Direct the private sector into the One-District-One-Factory agenda
- Maintain a database of Farmers and Agribusiness information
- Promote the Planting for Food, Jobs and Investments initiative
- Serve as the Local Economic Development (LED) committee
