One District, One Warehouse Project Update

The Government of Ghana introduced a Flagship Programme "One District, One Warehouse" with the main objective of constructing a warehouse in each of the constituencies in the country, particularly those within the Agricultural Districts.

The Upper Denkyira West District has been one of the beneficiaries of this intervention and work has progressed steadily since its commencement. The warehouse, when completed, will provide farmers and agribusinesses in the district with modern storage facilities to reduce post-harvest losses and improve food security.

The project is part of Government's broader strategy to modernise agriculture, reduce post-harvest losses and increase the income of smallholder farmers across Ghana.
